Fresh from a Battlefield Archaeology Group dig on the Operation Cobra battlefield in Normandy - to be featured on TV’s Time Team in 2024 - Andrew Volans comes to Land of Iron to speak on his involvement in battlefield archaeology and exploring the American breakthrough.

A retired hospital doctor, Andrew was lured into archaeology by a WW1 dig and learned his trade with the Scarborough Archaeology & Historical Society.
