Fossil Hunting at Land of Iron

Join us at Land of Iron for a morning of fossil hunting! Walk down onto a beach that was once home to millions of prehistoric creatures, far beneath a tropical sea! Comb the beach with our volunteers to find fossils – or even a nodule of ironstone if you’re lucky!

Equipment is provided by Land of Iron, but bring your own wellies or suitable footwear! If it is sunny, remember to bring sun cream!
