Home Educator Morning: Tabletop Archaeology

Participate in your own dig and learn how archaeologists investigate the past! Children will excavate, examine and record their finds.

This event takes place in the Land of Iron Education Room and is perfect for children between 7 and 11 years old at Key Stage 2 level.

Advanced booking is essential as this workshop is limited to 15 children.
The cost is £6 per child, plus online booking fee, while accompanying adults can join for free—no ticket or booking needed.

We are committed to making this experience enjoyable and accessible for everyone. There’s a dedicated, clearly signed disabled parking area at the back, and the museum is fully wheelchair accessible.
