North East peer-learning programme Q&A

Mon 2 Nov 2026 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM GMT Online, Zoom

Joseph Rowntree Foundation, with support from Larger Us, is recruiting ten community practitioners to join a new peer-learning programme for the North East.

Together, they'll co-design and test a series of workshops on: avoiding burnout, bridging divides, building belonging, navigating collective loss and storytelling. More details can be found in the programme invitation.

It will run initially from January to June 2027 with other cohorts to follow. All participants will be paid for their time.

This session will be hosted by Victoria Hughes from JRF and Alex Evans and Claire Brown from Larger Us. It is your opportunity to:

  • Find out more about the background and goals of the programme.
  • Give feedback on the programme invitation to help shape its future.
  • Ask any questions you have about the programme or application process.

Everyone is welcome, whether or not you intend to apply, and we look forward to hearing your thoughts and answering your questions!
