Mosaics - Half Day workshop

Join us for a mindful few hours creating a beautiful round mosaic using stunning matt pastel tiles. Your finished make will make a great wall hanging, plant stand or decorative trivet.

We’ll guide you through all the steps from planning your design, preparing the background and then using our wheeled tile cutters to create a variety of tile shapes. We can help you choose a design that suits the level of difficulty that you are comfortable with.
Please note that cutting the tiles requires non stop use of hand tools and can be tiring on the hands and wrists. Upon booking you will receive an email with design tips and a Pinterest board with ideas so you can make a start on your design a home.

At the end of the half day you will have affixed your tiles to your wood base, but it will need time to dry before grouting, you can choose to do that at home following our easy video tutorial and provided grout and mixing pot or you can return to the studio during one of our crafty catch ups for free to finish your piece.

An additional charge of £6 can be paid when booking if you would like to make a larger wreath or mirror, please note both would take an additional 30mins to the time shown.
