Workshop 1: BEGINNERS / IMPROVERS

This workshop is perfect for you if you are brand new to Natalie's classes, or if you have been coming a while and feel that you would benefit from an understanding of the basics that form the foundation of the range of dances that feature in Natalie's Latin Dance classes.

You will learn the basic steps, timing, weight placement and accompanying body movements for each style of dance, as well as common errors.  You will also gain an understanding of the differences between the styles of Latin dances used in class, such as  'cross-body' salsa, Calí-style salsa and Cuban salsa, for example.

Once you have completed the workshop, this knowledge can be taken into classes and will help you to both improve your dancing, and get more out of the classes.  It will also lay the foundations for more complex steps as and when you are ready.
