Latin Quarter LIVE  Band Night - 23rd Anniversary - 2nd ED - Sunday 4th October with Orquesta Boreal

Very excited to host the debut of Orquesta Boreal, salsa band in Dundee . This charity event is a live band followed by SBK social dancing with DJ music (salsa, bachata, kizomba) to raise money for Azul Wasi children's home in Oropesa, Peru.  The money raised at the event goes via UK based charity Peace Child International. 

The 10 piece Salsa band Orquesta Boreal delivers an electrifying performance with infectious rhythms and salsa beats. With their authentic sound and dynamic musicianship, they transport audiences to the heart of Latin America, evoking the passion and energy of salsa music. Led by captivating vocalist and backed by skilled instrumentalists, the band's seamless fusion of traditional salsa with contemporary flair creates an irresistible groove that keeps crowds moving. Whether you're a seasoned salsa enthusiast or a newcomer to Latin rhythms, Orquesta Boreal guarantees a unforgettable musical experience.

Tickets :  

£20 advance Adult online ticket, £25 on the door (CASH ONLY if any tickets left). This is an age 16 & over event.
STUDENTS £16 online ticket or at door (with valid ID on door)- If no ID for online ticket, will be charged £4 extra for full price online ticket difference.  

All tickets are NON refundable but transferable to another person, contact  LQsalsadundee@gmail.com to transfer.  LAST CHANCE to buy online tickets will be MIDNIGHT on Friday 2nd October to allow admin time. There will be an optional donation facility when you purchase tickets online if you would like to contribute to the Azul Wasi children's home.

Events details :  

Doors open at 6.45pm, the event will start with a taster salsa class @ 7pm following by the band at 7.30pm playing 2 sets and to finish off from 9.30pm we have more hours of SBK (Salsa, Bachata & Kizomba) social dancing with DJ Sarita & animations till about midnight, or later !  

The venue has a large dance floor, seated tables and a CARD ONLY licensed bar. There will also be a pre drawn fund raising raffle for Azul Wasi.

The night is another celebration of 23 years of the Azul Wasi (formerly Blooming Colibri) homes in Peru and Latin Quarter fund raising classes & events. Come and spice up your life ! and help raise money for Azul Wasi at the same time.

Venue has disabled access. 

Any photos or videos taken by Latin Quarter photo/videographers could be posted to Facebook/ social media after the event. Anyone who does not wish to be on photos/videos please make this known to photo/videographer on the night or send message to Sarah Salsa on messenger with link asking for it to be removed.
