Guidelines of The Mic

• No guests are required to perform at our open mics.
  
• There is a one-item minimum for all comics and guests.
• You must purchase your item and check in with the host before your name is added to the lineup.
• Spots are 5 minutes; you may have extra time if we are not full.
• Check-in begins at 7:45 PM.
• If you arrive after 8:00 PM, you may lose your spot to comics who are on the waitlist.
• Tickets are $5.00 + $0.50 booking fee for comics in advance, and $6.00 at the door, space permitting.
• Audience tickets are $5.00 + $0.50 booking fee in advance, and $6.00 at the door.
• You must be 18 and older to register, or 16 accompanied by a parent or guardian.
• One comic at random will receive a guest spot on one of our weekly shows (Provided they stay till the end of the mic and support the comics).
  • The guest spot date assigned to you cannot be changed, and there are no makeup spots.
  • While no guests are required to perform when you win a guest spot, bringing 1 guest earns you a spot on the same show the following week. If you bring 2 guests, you get a free video of your set, an additional guest spot, and feedback from LBC's Booker.
  • You will receive an email from: mics@laughingbuddhacomedy.com within 24-48 hours of your mic with your guest spot date and details. Please make sure our emails do not go into spam.
  • If you do not receive an email from us within 24-48 hours of your mic, please reach out to us via email.
• Please note, the venue does receive last-minute bookings, which can interfere with our mics. If this happens, we will let you know beforehand.
• Phone/Notes:

  • Please do not use your phone while in the audience
  • You may record your performance
• All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges are permitted.
