Sense & Sensibility (2008) Full-Series Screenings

💙 You asked for more screenings, and we have provided! Join us for a screening of the beautiful BBC adaptation of Sense and Sensibility (2008), with an exclusive full-series screening on the big screen!

Join Elinor and Marianne Dashwood for a day of romance, heartbreak, longing glances, dramatic rainstorms, and some of Austen’s most beloved characters.

📍 Venue: Reading Biscuit Factory (Reading, Berkshire, UK)

🕰️ Time: 1:00pm–6:00pm
Arrival from 1:00pm
Screening begins at 1:30pm

(Approx. 5 hours, with breaks between episodes throughout the day)

Spend the afternoon with fellow Austen enthusiasts watching this wonderful adaptation in a relaxed and cosy cinema setting. The lights will be dimmed (not off), so feel free to bring embroidery, knitting, or quiet crafts to enjoy while you watch.

There will also be the opportunity to purchase an exclusive embroidery kit designed by Abigail Rose especially for the Sense and Sensibility (2008) screenings.

Everything is included — simply bring scissors and a clip light (if you use one.)

There are several paid parking options nearby, including the Broad Street Mall car park, which is only a 2-minute walk from the venue and is open 24 hours.
