Mindful Art Day Retreat

A day retreat for meditative art and creative flow this Summer

Join us for a whole day of mindfulness through Mandala Art and Calligraphy

At Linden House on Sunday 11 August, 9am - 5pm

Experience an immersive day of calming creativity with two local artists, Ekta Mody and Laura Edralin who will be hosting this special retreat for people looking for a space to step back, connect and tap into their inner creativity.

In this transformative Mindful Art Day Retreat, as you immerse yourself in a day of creativity and mindfulness, you will learn various mindful art techniques of Mandala Art and Calligraphy and then combining the two together, you will create your own beautiful artwork to take home with you.

If you're new to art or mindfulness, fear not! Ekta & Laura will guide you every step of the way, creating a welcoming and supportive environment. You'll be working with a variety of materials, allowing you to explore your creativity and express yourself in a mindful way.

Held at the Linden House - a beautiful riverside location in Hammersmith, West London - in their stunning ballroom, this full day holistic experience includes breakfast, lunch, light snacks and drinks, weaved between mindful art session including a chakra balancing meditative art sessions to find your creative flow.

An overview of the day's schedule (times subject to change):

• 9:00 am - Welcome breakfast on arrival
• 9:45 am - Opening meditation
• 10:00 am - Mandala Art
• 11:30 am - Break
• 11:45 am - Calligraphy
• 1:00 pm - Lunch
• 1:45 pm - Chakra Wheel / Journalling
• 2:15 pm - Mandala & Calligraphy creation
• 4:15 pm - Break
• 4:30 pm - Closing meditation
• 4:45 pm - Sharing & farewells

...all with plenty of time for creative guidance, both as a group and 1:1.

Subject to weather, we hope to hold an outdoor session with beautiful riverside views to add to the creativity and flow of the day.

 Tickets are £160 per person which includes:

Ekta is a local artist and the creative soul behind “Story Beyond Lines”. From workshops, to exhibitions, to commissions she has understood her purpose is to create art that connects people to their spiritual energy.

ABOUT THE VENUE

📍This event takes place at the beautiful Grade II listed, Linden House in Hammersmith. Linden House is a charming four-storey riverside property with elegant south facing façade. We will be together in the Ballroom for the day, a breath-taking setting with a calm and relaxed atmosphere. With views that look out across the Front Terrace.

There are a few steps up into the building (pictured), but toilets and Ballroom are all accessible on the ground floor. There are a couple of parking spaces which can be booked directly with Linden House - or onstree parking in neighbouring roads, but we do suggest you plan your travel well in advance and check again on the day.

Should you need accommodation, there are local hotels in Hammersmith, and Chiswick, not far from the venue.
