Willow Club Weaving Day - Lampshades

Join the Laurelbank Willow Club for a day of making a willow lampshade (using very similar skills to making an Irish skib)

Date and Time: Sunday 4th October 2026 - 10am to 3pm

The weave: We'll be making a lampshade out of willow. Use it for a lamp or ceiling light. Please select whether you'd like to make a small (8-10inch diameter) or medium (12-14inch diameter) lampshade when you book, so we can soak the right amount of willow.
Note: Small is easier if you're a beginner!

The food: A simple but hearty lunch. Soup and bread. And pudding by the elusive Kate from the business formerly known as Gingernutcakes. We'll all stop to eat lunch together at around 1pm. 

The cost: £20 for willow club members, £50 for non-members (plus booking fees)!
