Lava Lounge Presents: A Spring Awakening

Enter the world of Lava Lounge where our first portal awaits you in the form of A Spring Awakening. 12 hours of sensory exploration designed for basking in the molten moments of Spring. Come as you are and let the bounds & frames you carry melt away. An experience designed to nurture & surprise, built of immersive sound, material nourishment and playful interactivity. You'll find space for tangible creation and authentic connection. We will find each other at a secret garden in the heart of Berlin. Exit having created more than you've consumed.

Ticket types & what to expect 

• Full Experience (limited capacity) - 1pm Entrance
  • General admission plus Intentional Opening:
    • Energetic yoga with Gerdus Oosthuizen (800hr advanced yoga certified) - yoga mat included
    • Deep sound immersion: Sonic Ship with Astra Laguna 

• General Admission - 3pm Entrance 
  • 10 hours of electronic music-based programming 
    
  • Sauna (+ place to rinse off & place to freshen up) 
  • Interactive art installations & creation opportunities
  • Nourishment for purchase: Food, beverages, elixirs, coffee & more

Where: A secret indoor/outdoor garden location in the heart of Berlin. Exact location to be shared the week of the event.

Dress code & little bits 

Purples, Pinks, Blues, Whites, Florals.

Bring a towel for sauna, change of clothes (if you are joining for the Full Experience), your sparkles - natural or otherwise.

More about our artists: 

Astra Laguna are a music duo made up of artists Caroline Mackintosh (visual artist, musician, and shamanic practitioner) and Bummela (see bio below).  Since meeting 8 years ago, they've been weaving sonic magic and composing songs together. They create a hybrid sound journey by weaving their own composed songs between different curated ambient sonic landscapes.

Blindsmyth is a Berlin based live-act and multi instrumentalist. Since 2016 he has been carving out his own sonic sphere: a unique blend of electronica infused melodic house, shaped by his characteristic ethereal vocals and instrumental playing. His releases on Labels such as DIYnamic, Connaisseur and Kí Records brought him international support. He has been regularly appearing in sets of renowned DJs such as Solomun, Dixon, The Echonomist, Mira, Mimi Love, Sarah Kreis, Elif, Deer Jade and many more. 

Bummela is a composer, sound designer, music producer, and multi-instrumentalist. He has traversed many musical genres throughout his career, playing in various band projects, one of which ultimately saw him move to Berlin from Cape Town. Bummela’s DJ music is sonically explorative, psychedelic, warm, and wild.

Jonas Meyer is a Berlin based composer and music producer. His work combines elements of electronic, acoustic and experimental genres to create imaginative and diverse soundscapes, underlining inner perspectives and emotional processes.

KARLÏ captures the crowd with her melodic, energizing and playful mixes melding a diverse blend of musical genres, styles and sounds - full of raw emotion, energy, and grit.

Lisa Thaens is fascinated by ambient, downtempo and organic house music, combining grounded groovy beats with strong bass lines and organic elements, creating a soulful, mesmerizing sound and leaving you with a feeling of deep connection and warm-heartedness.

Taylor doesn't subscribe to a particular genre but whatever sound she's bringing will definitely include something sexy, groovy, funky, minimal and/or deep.
