Lavenderland x merrodi presents: Sunset in the Lavender Fields

Join us for an unforgettable summer evening where music, nature, and community come together at Lavenderland.

As the sun begins to dip over Greater Vancouver's first lavender farm, wander through fragrant lavender fields while harvesting fresh blooms, explore the gardens, and take in the calming floral scents carried through the evening air.

Dance barefoot in the grass, share a picnic with loved ones, take pictures, and discover your favourite corner of the farm, or simply pause to watch the sky slowly change colour.

However you choose to spend the evening, we hope you'll leave feeling a little more connected to nature and the people around you!

This family-friendly experience welcomes guests of all ages, with a bouncy castle and activities for children, while guests can enjoy refreshments from The Botanical Bar throughout the evening.

Lavenderland was created as a place where people could experience the beauty of the seasons and reconnect with the natural world. For one special evening, music becomes part of that landscape, gently weaving through the fields and gardens as we celebrate summer, nature, and the simple joy of creating beautiful memories together.

As golden hour unfolds, merrodi will guide the evening with a soundtrack created to complement the beauty of the farm and the magic already found within it.

• Bring a blanket or lawn chair and find your favourite place to unwind.

• Children can enjoy a bouncy castle and custom lavender-themed colouring activities.

• Special lavender and other flavor mocktails available.

• The event also falls during Harvest Season, giving guests an opportunity to harvest lavender to take home. A paper harvesting bag and scissors are included with admission; please return the scissors to the ticket booth after use.

Sunset in the Lavender Fields is included with regular admission—no separate event ticket is required.

About the Artist

Melody Yip is a community builder, creative entrepreneur, and the artist behind merrodi. Whether you've joined one of her experiences at the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden, beneath the dome at the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre, along Vancouver's beaches, in restaurants, or in a club, her purpose has always been the same. To create spaces where people can gather, connect, and celebrate life together.

For more than a decade, Melody has been bringing together people from different communities through thoughtfully crafted experiences centred around music, food, and nature. She believes some of our most meaningful memories are created when we're fully present, sharing a beautiful place with the people around us.

Sunsets have always been one of her favourite ways to bring people together. There is something special about watching the light soften, feeling the warmth of the evening, breathing in the scent of the lavender, and sharing that moment with friends, family, and even strangers who, for a little while, become part of a story together.

Through merrodi, Melody hopes to create experiences that invite people to wander a little further, stay a little longer, feel a little deeper, and savour the beauty of summer together.
