Come and join LGBT Youth Scotland and add your voice to the (Un)seen, (Un)heard archive - a first of it’s kind collection that aims to capture the lived experience of young (and formerly young) LGBTQ+ people in Scotland today.

5pm - 6pm: We will run an informal session between 5-6pm, where you can write, draw or record your own experiences using prompts aimed to explore your own personal experiences.

6pm - 7pm: From 6-7pm we will run a longer storytelling/ oral history workshop where you can share your experiences as a group. All stories will be collected and preserved as part of the (Un)seen, (Un)heard collection at the National Library of Scotland.

Booking information
Places are free but please book in advance. You can book for the informal session at 5pm-6pm, or the workshop at 6pm-7pm, or both.

There is only a limited amount of space in the archive so if you are unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer your place to someone else.

Venue & Accessibility
The sessions are located at the Lavender Menace Queer Books Archive in Edinburgh Palette. There is information on how to get to us on public transport and by car, along with access information, on our location & accessibility page.
