About the Gathering

Motion Pictures is an intimate, high-design social salon where leisure is treated as a discipline. This is not a passive movie screening, nor is it a traditional party.

Our purpose is to create a slow, deliberate space for deep human connection. Inside the space of Commune, classic films play quietly, acting as a moving backdrop to a continuous soundtrack of jazz and house. With strictly capped capacity and conversation guides on every table, this evening is made for those who appreciate dressing up, slowing down, and speaking to someone new.

• Location: Commune, Avondale Estates, GA
• The Vibe: Silent film projections, curated jazz/house selections, and offline conversation.
• Food & Drink: A curated menu of natural wines, signature cocktails, and seasonal light bites will be available for purchase through Commune all evening.
• The Artifacts: A highly limited run of 11x17 keepsake posters have been produced exclusively for this edition and will be available on-site.
• Parking: Free lot and street parking are available adjacent to the venue. Rideshare is highly recommended if you plan to enjoy the bar.

• The Dress Code: Elegant, sharp, and intentional. Think timeless silhouettes, rich textures, and tailoring.
  No athletic wear.
• The Presence: Arrive with intention. Put the phone away. Speak to someone you don’t know.

• Admission to the room: Grants full entry to the film and music salon, visual projections, and social spaces.
• Includes 11x17 poster: Each ticket includes a limited-edition physical print produced exclusively for this edition (available at the door while supplies last).
• Strictly limited capacity: Capped to maintain an intimate, intentional environment.
