LBSA'S Law School Prep (In-Person) October 6th 6:30PM

The LBSA’s Law School Prep Event is designed as an inclusive and informative evening dedicated to answering all of your law school related questions. Whether you are just beginning to consider a legal education or are in the final stages of preparing your applications, this event will provide valuable guidance and insights tailored to every step of the journey.

From perfecting your personal statement and navigating application stress, to understanding what a career in law could look like, our goal is to support you in making confident, informed decisions about your future.

The event will feature a panel discussion with a diverse group of speakers, including members of the Law and Business Faculty, practicing lawyers, current law students, and professionals at different stages of their legal careers. Their perspectives will offer you a realistic and well-rounded view of what to expect, both during the application process and beyond.

Following the panel, there will be a Q&A session, giving attendees the chance to ask direct questions about any aspect of the law school application process, career pathways, or personal experiences navigating legal education. 

Following the Q/A, students will have the opportunity to participate in interactive workshops focused on key aspects of the law school application process. The workshops will cover LSAT preparation, personal statements, and resume building, providing practical tips, guidance, and strategies that students can apply to their own law school journey. Students will also have the opportunity to ask questions and receive advice directly from our workshop facilitators.

Whether you are curious about admissions requirements, seeking advice on standing out as an applicant, or wanting to hear firsthand experiences from those already immersed in law school and legal practice, the LBSA’s Law School Prep Event is your opportunity to gain clarity, support, and inspiration for the journey ahead.

The event will take place at Ted Rogers School of Management, 7th Floor, TRS Commons (TRS 1-148 & 1-150)

Time: 6:30PM - 8:30PM 

Dress Code: Business Casual

LBSA Registration table will be in front of the commons.
