Delivered by legal experts, these free sessions will equip your charity or not-for-profit with the legal knowledge to protect & enhance your mission.

As part of In House Pro Bono Day on 24th April, LawWorks is hosting a series of online legal workshops for small charities and not-for-profits.

Five online sessions will take place across the day, you and your colleagues are welcome to attend as many as you wish. All sessions will be delivered by expert lawyers, and take place on Wednesday 24th April using Zoom.

A 6th session, with a fundraising focus has been added, this will take place on the 25th April - follow this link for details and to register your place.

13:30 - 14:30 Session 4: Employment

  • Managing employees vs. managing volunteers
  • Managing freelancers and contractors
  • Dealing with employee issues and complaints

14:45 - 15:45 Session 5: Charity governance

Topics this session will cover include:

  • Ensuring governing documents are fit for purpose
  • Having the right policies in place
  • How to get the best out of your trustees
