Layups 4 Life's 2nd Annual Pickleball Charity Tournament

Layups 4 Life is bringing back another fun day of pickleball, prizes and fundraising!

Layups 4 Life invites you to participate in our 2nd Annual Pickleball Charity Tournament. Gather up your friends, family members, co-workers; find a partner and take the pickleball courts for a great cause. We are thrilled to partner with Pickleball Palace, located in Whippany, NJ for this charity tournament. 

Since 2014, Layups 4 Life has raised OVER $188,000 for cancer research and clinical trials supporting one of the leaders in cancer research and innovation, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. 

Event Details

- Team Cost (2 players) = $150 total (no subs)

- Participants must be at least 15 years of age

- Co-ed teams welcomed

- Raffle with prizes including pickleball merchandise, gift certificates and more will also be present, along with a 50/50

- Concessions will also be offered throughout the day 

*We will accept Venmo, Cash and Zelle* 

Entry cost includes:
- Guarantee to play a minimum of three to four (3-4) games
- Access to Pickleball Palace lounge
- Donation directly to Layups 4 Life
- First 10 teams to register receive a FREE gift
- FREE entry to win a L4L Pickleball swag bundle

Tournament Format

- Divisions will be set and broken out based on the following skill-level:
* Beginner (Under 3.0)
* Intermediate (3.0 - 3.5)
* Advanced (3.5 - 4.0)
If you are a 4.0+ level player this is likely not a tournament for you. Please be honest in your ratings. No sandbagging!
Non DUPR tracking/scoring

- To start, the tournament will be played in a round robin format where teams will be placed into divisions based on the above skill-levels, playing three games within your division.
- After teams play these three (3) divisional round games, they will then be placed into a single elimination bracket within their respective division
- Single elimination brackets will then play themselves out in which we will have three winners, one from each division (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced).  

- Prizes awarded to each 1st place finishing teams 

- Deadline to register will be Monday, April 20th at 11:59 pm.
