Are you a songwriter? Bring your best original and take your shot at becoming the first Lazy Days Canteen Songwriter Showdown winner.

Songwriters from across the Hill Country and beyond will compete before a panel of respected music industry professionals for an opportunity to have their winning song professionally recorded as a single at Orb Recording Studio. 

Judging will be conducted by an esteemed panel featuring:
• Steven McClintock – songwriter and producer with over 20 Million Records Sold
• Justin McClure – 2026 Texas Regional Radio "DJ of the Year" and "Radio Station of the Year" winner
• Tony Young – Veteran producer and engineer who has worked with Ray Charles, Emmylou Harris, and Willie Nelson's Fourth of July Picnic
