Circle Werk: Queer Co-Working and Collaboration

Circle Werk is a bi-weekly coworking and collaboration group offered specifically for queer (and ally) solo business owners, freelancers, and creatives. Hosted at Place to B (1661 SE 3rd Ave), the group provides a safe, affirming space to be productive while being fully and unapologetically yourself.

At Circle Werk, we recognize that working solo doesn’t mean working alone. This event creates an opportunity for queer professionals to set aside time for essential but often-overlooked business tasks—from invoices and emails to strategic planning and goal-setting—with the added motivation of community support. When you arrive, you'll be invited to post your to-do list on the board as a clear plan for the time AND to visually celebrate each win together as you mark each item off the list.

Beyond personal productivity, Circle Werk is a space for mutual support. Whether you need a hand tackling a sticky task or can lend your expertise to someone else, this is an opportunity to build meaningful professional relationships in a space where queerness isn’t just accepted—it’s celebrated. Need another set of eyes on that important email before you send it? Need to talk through an idea that's got you stuck? Attendees are encouraged to ask for and offer help actively.

Whether you come for the focus, the camaraderie, or just to work in a room full of people who get it, Circle Werk is here to help you finish.

Please do not attend if you are feeling ill. Masks are encouraged as needed for personal comfort and safety. Covid Tests will be available.
