About League of Our Own

League of Our Own is a grassroots football league built for community, creativity, and connection. We're more than just matches. We're a movement bringing people together through the beautiful game following the ban by the FA on trans women in football.

Founded by Josie Gray and Joanna Holmgren, the league champions inclusivity, community, togetherness and the belief that sport should be accessible, fun, and empowering. Whether you're on the pitch, in the stands, or behind the scenes, there's space for you here.

We run league fixtures, community events, and creative collaborations. All self-funded and community-powered.

Every ticket sold helps us provide equipment, access, and future leagues for players and supporters alike.
