The Pride and Protest Cup

League of Our Own in partnership with Groundswell Lewisham

Join us for our first summer football festival, celebrating the joy of inclusive football and protesting against exclusion, in a fun and positive way.

This tournament is run by League of Our Own for women, trans and non-binary people to play in a friendly, inclusive and supportive 5v5 tournament!

Not part of a team? Join as a solo player to be entered into a team

Date: Saturday 22nd August

Location: St Dunstan's Jubilee Ground, Canadian Ave, London SE6 4SW

Time: Registration from 9.30am, games start 10.30am

Team Size: 5v5, maximum of 8 players per squad. 

Format: 

• Games will be 30mins each, no half time.
• Roll on, roll-off subs. 
• Total of 4 groups (2x Intermediate groups, 2x Beginner groups)
• 3 group games, followed by semi-finals and finals for both beginner & intermediate. 
• Top 2 teams from each group progress to semi-finals. Winners of semi-final games progress to final.
• Prize money, trophies and medals for top 4 teams. 

Entry Fee: £100 per team - non refundable.

Parking: Parking is very limited so players are encouraged to use public transport or cycle wherever possible. If cars are required, players should car share.

Facilities: 

• Toilets & changing rooms available. 
• Wheel-chair accessible facilities. 
• Water fountain available. 
• Cafe and upstairs terrace selling food/drinks throughout the day. 
• Additional food vendors on-site to sell food/drinks throughout the day.
