Candidate Forum: State House District 113, Special Election

League of Women Voters Charleston Area will host a live candidate forum for the candidates running for State House District 113. This is for the special election necessitated by the resignation of former Democratic Rep. Marvin Pendarvis.  

All three candidates will participate: Michelle Brandt (D), Kim Clark (D), and Courtney Waters (D).

The Democratic primary will be held on January 21, 2025 (with early voting from January 6 to 17th), and the general election will follow on March 25, 2025.  

The forum will be livestreamed on the LWVCharleston YouTube page.  The recorded video will be available there immediately, and posted shortly afterwards on LWVCharleston.org for later viewing.
