On Sunday, Oct 4, meet (or re-connect!) with local League members at our fall Member Kick-off meeting!  We're energized about this get-together and look forward to seeing you!

This year, we're convening at a critical time - one month before Midterm Elections - to socialize, mobilize, and get better prepared to increase voter participation.

We'll have a 'live' voter registration and information training session led by LWVCA's Kate Everingham, who brings expertise as a Charleston County early voting site manager, and active LWVCA volunteer Jackie McGee!  We'll share upcoming events and enlist your interest in volunteer opportunities across our voter services, advocacy, and programming areas. And we'll provide Get out the Vote/Vote 411 materials and informational flyers to take home and share in your neighborhood or workplace. Everyone will have the opportunity to do something to make a difference! 

As a bonus, we'll raffle off a signed copy of US Representative Jim Clyburn's recent book, inscribed to The League of Women Voters during a recent visit to Charleston!  

Location:  The Point at Omar Shrine Center - 176 Patriots Point Rd, Mount Pleasant 29464.  (Plenty of parking!)

Time: 2pm - 4 pm.  Food and drink by Top Shelf Catering!

Guests and Prospective members are welcome.

Donations are optional and appreciated. $10 or more entitles you to a raffle ticket!
