Stay or go? Speak up or stay quiet? Take the opportunity or play it safe?

As professional women, we make significant decisions every day — from career moves and leadership choices to knowing when to stay, when to speak up, and when to walk away. Some decisions come with real consequences, whatever we choose.

Join us for an interactive and thought-provoking session exploring how you make significant decisions. Is your usual approach helping or holding you back? Is it truly serving you?

Using the Head, Heart & Gut lens and insights from Thinking, Fast and Slow, we'll examine instinct, emotion, logic, analysis and the blind spots that can influence our choices.

Together, we'll consider:

  • What makes a decision truly significant?
  • What is your decision-making style?
  • When does analysis create clarity — and when does it become avoidance?
  • How do you make a decision you can genuinely live with?

You'll leave with greater self-awareness, practical questions and a framework built by the room, for the room — helping you make more deliberate decisions with clarity and confidence.

Come with a decision in mind — and leave with a new way to look at it.

Facilitated by Risky Conversations, a forum bringing professional women and allies together to tackle the topics too often sidestepped. Every session is participatory by design — creating space for diverse perspectives, honest conversations and new ways of thinking.

Your £35 contribution will help us fund the evening, supporting event costs and enabling us to make the night memorable for all.
