Self-Advocacy has always been important to people with learning disabilities. As we head into a general election, being heard is more important than ever.

In the session we will talk about the history and impact of self-advocacy across the UK, as well as bringing together a number of speakers to think about how we make sure self-advocacy grows and gets stronger.

This will include research on the funding of self advocacy

There will also be time to talk together about:

  • how we can keep self-advocacy going and get stronger
  • any shared actions we can take in this big election year
