Safe Places: Keeping active, Keeping safe

Safe Places help people if they are lost, unsure or unsafe whilst out and about.

Safe Places help people be more independent, be part of their local community and stay safe when people experience hate crime or abuse.

Future Directions’ SPICE team have set up Safe Place schemes in Greater Manchester to help people feel safe when they are out.

In this webinar we will talk about how to set up a Safe Place scheme, the issues that we have encountered and what’s worked well.

There will be a chance to ask questions and to share your experiences.

SPICE stands for Supporting People into Community Employment. SPICE are a group of people with learning disabilities and/or autistic people employed by Future Directions as 'Experts by Experience'. The SPICE team will be delivering this webinar.
