This webinar is for all Learning Disability England Members who are interested in becoming a candidate* and standing in the Representative Body election this year. You can come along if you're not sure, or want to learn more about it, too!

This webinar will cover:

  • What the Representative Body is and what it does 
  • How to become a candidate in the election 
  • Dates and deadlines for applying to be a candidate 
  • There'll be a chance to ask questions

*A candidate is someone who puts themselves forward for a role and then people vote who they want to do that role 


Rep Body Election Information
All members can put themselves forward to become a Rep Body Member, and all members vote for who they want to join the Rep Body. 

About the Rep Body: 

  • The Representative Body represents Learning Disability England members and acts on their behalf, making important decisions about Learning Disability England says and does.
  • The Representative Body is an even split of 4 self-advocate Reps, 4 families and friends Reps, and 4 organisational Reps.
