Learn to dance Salsa in one day (beginners one day dance experience in London)

Always wanted to dance Salsa but feel like you’ve got two left feet? You’re not alone — and this is exactly what this day is for.

Join our fun, welcoming one-day Salsa experience designed specifically for beginners, and leave feeling confident, energised, and ready to step onto the social dancefloor.

No pressure. Just great music, great people, and real progress in just a few hours.

NOTE: This course teaches Salsa Crossbody On1 (LA style), not Cuban or Colombian Salsa.

Choose any flavours including chicken, beef, lamb, pork, vegetarian option or vegan option. NOTE: Make sure to choose what flavours you would like when booking yourself a ticket, otherwise we will choose chicken for you. Each saltena is stewed with onion, garlic, chilli pepper, tomato, pepper, cumin, parsley, salt, sugar, unflavoured gelatin, potatoes, and egg. What the day looks like and schedule:

  • 10:40am – 11:00am: Arrival & check-In
  • 11am - 11:15am: Introductions, meet your instructor and fellow dancers.
  • 11:15am - 11:55pm: Warm-up and foundations including Salsa timing & rhythm (On 1) + core basic steps + balance, posture & natural movement + right-turn & left-turn technique +  simply styling tips for both leaders & followers.
  • 12:00pm – 1pm: Starting to build your Salsa toolkit including open break + crossbody lead (CBL) + lead/follow connection + beginner-friendly practice combinations.
  • 1:00pm – 2:00pm: Lunch + optional social dancing. Music will be playing — practise at your own pace or relax and recharge.
  • 2:00pm – 2:55pm: Partnerwork essentials including smooth transitions in and out of the CBL move + partnerwork confidence & communication + CBL inside turn / outside turn variations + footwork transitions for smooth flow.
  • 3:00pm – 3:55pm: Learn a short routine containing everything we've learned so far which you can use at social dance events.
  • 3:55pm - 4:00pm: Group photo and celebrate your progress
  • 4pm: Close

The day can end here or if you'd like to stay longer we could go over the following:

  • 4:00pm - 5pm: The instructor will hang about for anyone who needs any further support to go over anything we've covered so far including any basic Salsa footwork, partner work, the routine, timing, partner connection, body awareness, etc.
