Learn to dance Bachata in one day (beginners one day dance experience in London)

Always wanted to dance Bachata but feel like you’ve got two left feet? You’re not alone — and this is exactly what this day is for.

Join our fun, welcoming one-day Bachata experience designed specifically for beginners, and leave feeling confident, energised, and ready to step onto the social dancefloor.

No pressure. Just great music, great people, and real progress in just a few hours.

NOTE: This course teaches Bachata Sensual, not Dominican.

Day and time:

  • Saturdays
  • If you choose the 11am time slot, then please arrive from 10:40am. Class: 11:00am – 3:00pm
  • If you choose the 3:15pm time slot, then please arrive from 3pm. Class: 3:15pm - 7:15pm

Pricing

  • £55 per person
  • £99 for couples (1 lead + 1 follow)
  • Only 24 spaces available — first come, first served. Once full, no additional spots will be opened.

Schedules

What the day looks like and schedule depending on your preferred time slot: 11am time slot

  • 10:40am – 11:00am: Arrival & check-In
  • 11am - 11:15am: Introductions, meet your instructor and fellow dancers.
  • 11:15am - 11:55am:: Warm-up and foundations including Bachata timing & rhythm + core basic steps + balance, posture & natural movement + right-turn & left-turn technique
  • 12:00pm – 1:00pm: Starting to build your Bachata toolkit including lead/follow connection + neck rolls + body waves + beginner-friendly practice combinations
  • 1:00pm – 1:30pm: Lunch + optional social dancing. Music will be playing — practise at your own pace or relax and recharge.
  • 1:30pm – 2:25pm: Partner work essentials including transitioning and exiting into and out of various positions including the shadow position.
  • 2:30pm – 2:55pm: Learn a short routine containing everything we've learned so far.
  • 2:55pm - 3:00pm: Group photo and celebrate your progress
  • 3pm: Close

The day can end here or if you'd like to stay longer we could go over the following:

  • 3:00pm - 3:15pm: The instructor will hang about for anyone who needs any further support to go over anything we've covered so far including any basic Bachata footwork, partner work, the routine, timing, partner connection, body awareness, etc.

  • 6:45pm – 7:10pm: Learn a short routine containing everything we've learned so far.
  • 7:10pm - 7:15pm: Group photo and celebrate your progress
  • 7:15pm: Close

The day can end here or if you'd like to stay longer we could go over the following:

  • 7:15pm - 7:30pm: The instructor will hang about for anyone who needs any further support to go over anything we've covered so far including any basic Bachata footwork, partner work, the routine, timing, partner connection, body awareness, etc.
