Music at the Institute - Kate Plumtree

Kate Plumtree is a dynamic singer/guitarist, performing popular rock and pop classics from all eras as well as her own material.   For the last 11 years she has taken her act all over the the UK, lighting up stages, venues and events with her rich, rhythmic guitar grooves and mellow, gutsy vocal style.  She has fronted 2 glam rock bands and is currently collaborating with a classical pianist to create songs with an exciting fusion of musical styles.  Kate is a Surrey girl and is delighted to be bringing her music to Leatherhead Institute in front of a home crowd!

Young people, members of the Leatherhead Community Association (LCA) and members of the Music on Thursdays (MoT) group can buy tickets at a reduced price.

Tickets are full price £9, members £7, young people (under 26 years) £5.

The concert is in the Abraham Dixon Hall on the first floor. of the Leatherhead Institute  Doors open at 7pm, music starts at 7:30pm and ends by 9:30pm.

We do not have an alcohol licence but if you are of age you are welcome to bring your own. There are supermarkets nearby. Please bring plastic glasses or use the glasses that we supply.

Getting to the Leatherhead Institute

The Institute is at the top of Leatherhead High Street, KT22 8AH, on the corner with Leret Way. Leatherhead is served by bus from Kingston and by bus and train from Guildford, Dorking and Epsom. Nearby car parks are the Swan Centre multi-storey on Leret Way (KT22 7JL) and the surface car park on Station Road (KT22 7AF). Both are free after 6pm.
