Dadstastic Day is Coming! 

A day of Free Family Fun at Leeds City Museum and Millennium Square celebrating Father’s Day and the #NorthernManFestival!

Join us from 11-4pm on Sunday 21 June at Leeds City Museum LS2 8BH.

What’s happening at Dadstastic Day 2026?

Inside Leeds City Museum (11am–3:30pm):

• Code fighting robots with Leeds City Library
• Upcycle records into colourful art with Zulu King Monk
• Create glamourous Leeds West Indian Carnival costumes with Valentina’s Collective
• Make memories in the professional family photo booth with Reeka Studios
• Bring plasticine models to life with Stop Motion
• Build illuminated dad-sculptures - and many more family arts activities

Plus:

• Family dance workshops to get your groove on - RJC Dance
• Sensory Story Time for Tots exploring the 5 senses - Brave Words Theatre
• Meet the NEW Leeds Lord Mayor Cllr Stephen Holroyd

Outside in Millennium Square (11am–4pm):

• Create giant bubbles with Mr Bubble
• Indian Dhol Drumming
• Inclusive tennis and Kwick Cricket with Active Leeds
• Madcap comedy with Maynard Flip Flap
• Beat The Parents -children compete against their mums and dads in Shape Club Leeds’ sports showdown

• 3:30–4:00pm: A finale extravaganza led by the 70-strong West Yorks Rock Choir, with memorable tunes and sign along fun in Millenium Square

The day is split into 3 sessions:

• 11:00–12:30
• 12:30–14:00
• 14:00–15:30
• Outdoor All Day Ticket (All Indoor tickets allow access to outdoor activities, all day)

FAQs

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

There is no free parking at Leeds Museum.

Please consider using public transport or plan ahead to park at various city centre locations

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

A copy of your ticket/confirmation email on your smartphone would be helpful, or we can find you by booking name

Please note, photographs will be taken at this event. These images will be used by Leeds Dads to share news about Dadstastic Day, our Leeds Dads Meetups, and to publicise our next Dadstastic Day. Images may be used in press releases, printed publicity and published on our website and social media platforms. They will be stored securely. If you would prefer for you or your child not to be photographed, please speak to a member of the Leeds Dads team on the day.
