Double Bill

The Performance Ensemble joins choreographer Tamara McLorg and director Alex Elliott for a powerful Double Bill of dance and theatre shaped by memory, music and conversation. Requiem and The Rest is Silence draw on the performers’ own stories, humour, imaginations and lived experience to co-create two deeply human works filled with warmth and quiet beauty. In Requiem, the soaring beauty of Fauré’s music finds expression in a dance McLorg has been trying to reach for much of her life. The Rest is Silence weaves together songs, reflections and shared moments into a rich and moving portrait of a group of people gathering to make sense of the world.
