Natural Dye Wall Hanging Workshop with Jenny

Join artist and grower Jenny @niceisntit for a relaxing evening celebrating the summer’s colours.

Learn about the process of creating natural inks using plant matter, flowers and vegetables from Jenny’s allotment and garden, then paint your own wall hanging to take home.

Using pre-prepared raw edge cotton fabric, you’ll be shown how to sew an easy channel at the top to fit a wooden dowel for hanging your piece. Then with your own palette of natural colours you can get painting! Feel free to plan your design in advance or just let inspiration strike on the day. There will be some flowers and books to help inspire you, but there’s no theme and no rules about what you want your design to look like! You can make a piece up to 80x80cm but are welcome to decide your own dimensions within this.

Arrival

When you arrive, please check in with the staff at the café to confirm your table for the workshop. We often have a few different events happening in the building at the same time, so this helps us get you settled quickly.
If you have any issues throughout your stay with us please raise it with either your workshop facilitator or the Café Staff who will be happy to help you.

Tickets & Refunds

All workshop tickets are non-refundable.

Materials

All materials are provided. 

Food & Drink

Our café and bar will be open for light food and drinks throughout the workshop.
Please note: no external food or drink may be consumed inside the building.

Parking

We have very limited Blue Badge parking onsite (first come, first served).
There is free on-street parking in the residential streets surrounding Left Bank, just a short walk from the venue.
