HOMECOMING: MEET THE MEDALLISTS IS POSTPONED TILL OCTOBER
Requests from many parents and PTAs to make it a weekend or half term event
IT WILL BE a fun interactive day for those who enjoyed our Athletes efforts, a day hosted by GB Medallists from Paris, at the Olympic Velodrome. This is for a two hour experience doing the following.
- You will get to hear from the host Olympic and Paralympic Medallists in a special Q and A
- Then you will be entering the Medallist maze signing and photo sessions throughout the day so you should get selfies with the GB Medallists.
- Beat the Medallist challenges for your children take on the times and targets set by the GB Medallists.
- There will be fun activities on the day for them to compete and get a certificate signed by two of the GB Medallists on completion.
- You also get to win a day with the GB Athletes in the sport of your choice.

FORMAT OF THE DAY
- The experience lasts two hours
- Start with a Q and A in the Velo Park stands
- Then we will take you down to the infield for the signing and selfie stage
- You can then take part in the activity area
THE PURPOSE OF THE DAY: HELP THE ATHLETES SUPPORT LOCAL GOOD CAUSES
The event is part of the Legacy 300 Athlete Purpose Project, www.legacy300.com which has already raised £635K for good causes with places on Athlete hosted experience days being multiplied at Auction, and with Legacy 300 Athletes at the Velodrome, it seemed a great idea for a fun family afternoon. Profits from this Homecoming event creates a fund which local good causes can draw down places on these days to multiply their value at auction.
HOW TO GET INVOLVED IN THE UNIQUE CHARITY FUNDRAISER
Tickets cost £11 Pre Schoolers are free
THE PTA / SPORTS CLUB THAT HAS THE BIGGEST PRESENCE ON THE DAY
Will win £1K worth of Athlete Experiences to either fundraise with or give as internal prizes. (remember to state which club when purchasing a ticket).
ALL TICKET PURCHASERS WILL BE ENTERED INTO A DRAW TO WIN EXPERIENCE DAY PLACES WITH GB ATHLETES
The chance to take on the GB Medallists at their sport in a day of your choosing IN 2025.
CANNOT MAKE IT BUT WANT TO TRY AND WIN AN EXPERIENCE DAY AND HELP THE GB ATHLETES SUPPORT GOOD CAUSES
