Brocks Hill Country Park and Grand Union Canal

Join us for a relaxing and scenic group walk exploring the beautiful surroundings of Brocks Hill Country Park and the peaceful Grand Union Canal. This circular route combines countryside trails, waterside paths, open green spaces, and local wildlife, making it the perfect outdoor escape for walkers of all experience levels.

Enjoy a friendly and welcoming atmosphere as we take in the natural beauty of the area. You can also treat yourself to Cake and Coffee at Jennos Coffee Shop after the walk.

• Distance: Approx. 12km
• Terrain: Mixed (fields and canal path )
• Difficulty: Moderate

Footwear & Clothing

• Waterproof hiking boots are essential

• For your own safety please do not wear full length jackets or dresses, 3/4 length is fine.

• We recommend hiking boots that support the ankle, as some sections may be muddy, or slippery

• Waterproof clothing (jacket and trousers) is advised in case of rain

• Bring a rucksack or drawstring bag - no handbags 

 What to Bring

• Water bottle and snacks

• Any medication you may need

• Hiking sticks (if you use them for support)

Car Sharing Information 

If you do not have access to a car, please do not book straight away.

Instead, add your name to our car share spreadsheet and check back to see if a lift becomes available. Once you’ve arranged a lift, you can return and complete your booking.
