A huge amount has happened since our last update in terms of new legislation, sentencing and case law. Our late summer will bring you up-to-date with as many developments as we can fit into the afternoon- including

• The Sentencing Act 2026- case law on what is exceptional when considering imposing an immediate custodial sentence under 12 months
