Leicestershire Law Society & Northamptonshire Law Society Joint Event

The event will be hosted by Linda Lee:

Linda Lee is a member of both Leicestershire and Northamptonshire Law Societies. She is the current Law Society Council Member for Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and Rutland. She is a Past President of the Law Society of England and Wales (2010-2011), and has held a number of key roles in the Society. She is currently Chair of the of the Closures and Mergers Taskforce and a is member of the Policy and Regulatory Affairs Committee and the Access to Justice Committee.

She is a senior solicitor and specialises in regulatory and disciplinary law at national law firm Radcliffes Le Brasseur.

She frequently lectures and writes on legal and regulatory issues, is an editor of Cordery on Legal Services and a director of the Incorporated Council of Law Reporting.

Linda is also Chair of the Solicitors Assistance Scheme, which provides advice and assistance to solicitors facing professional and personal difficulties.

In her more public roles in and through the Law Society of England and Wales, and through other bodies, Linda is a leading voice for reform and improvement in regulatory law and practice and contributes extensively to the administration of justice.

She is a former President and serving council member of the Medico-Legal Society.

Linda is a Commissioner for the Criminal Cases Review Commission and holds a number of public administrative offices; she is a legal chair for the General Medical Council, the Taxation Disciplinary Board, the NHSLA and the Phone-paid Services Authority and a member of HS2’s Need to Sell Scheme.
