This taster session will introduce you to some of the content and aims for our 'Learning to be a Facilitator' course. This is a five week course that will be delivered between 30 September and 4 November. The aim of the taster session is to give you a flavour of the delivery format, offer you the opportunity to ask more detailed questions, introduce you to to the staff leading the sessions, and enable you to meet other potential participants.
Format for the session:
6.00 - 6.10 Welcome and introductions
6.10 - 7.15 Learn more about the course and practice some of the learning techniques used during the session. Please feel free to ask questions as we go along.
7.15 - 7.30 Any further questions plus support for filling in the course application form.
Tea and coffee will be provided during the session.
The taster session is open to those who have been already been offered a place on the 'Learning to be a Facilitator' course as well as those who would like to find out more before applying.
Please note that the closing date for applications for the five week course is 17 September.
