Bilingual Drama Workshop

Sa cheardlann drámaíochta seo beidh deis ag páistí sraitheanna míme a chleachtadh agus déanfar iniúchadh ar fhisiciúlacht na mothúchán. Bainfimid leas as cluichí stáitse chomh maith le teicnící eile ó theagasc mím agus gluaiseachta. Ag taoscadh ón saol máguaird (nádúr, eolaíocht...) déanfaidh siad aithris ar ghluaiseachtaí agus rithim chun teanga choirp amharclainne a fhorbairt a éascaíonn tógáil agus cruthú carachtair agus a n-insint. Imreoidh páistí leis na carachtair éagsúla a aimsíonn siad chun teorainn na samhlaíochta, na réaltachta agus an oird a sharú. Ceardlann dátheangach atá ann (Gaeilge/ Béarla). Caith éadaí compordacha.

During this theatre workshop children practice mime sequences and explore the physicality of emotions. We will use improvisation games along with other techniques from mime and movement teachings. Using the world around them (nature, science, objects), they’ll examine and reproduce movements to develop a theatrical body language which facilitates the building and creation of characters and their narrative. Children will play with the different characters they discover to push the boundaries of imagination, reality and order. The workshop is in Irish and English. Wear comfortable clothing. 

Suitable for children ages 6 - 12.
