Two women face one of the more difficult challenges of navigating their decades-long relationship...marriage. Set during a time when gay marriage had yet to be formally recognized across the US, "Cloudburst" depicts one couple's Thelma & Louise style road trip to "make their love legal."

Heading toward the Canadian border, the women must confront some pretty formidable obstacles before they can say "I do." Along the way, they pick up a hitchhiker embarking on their own personal journey who teaches them a few things about what it is to truly live life on your terms.

"Cloudburst" is a poignant comedy about just how complex love can be at any age--for any couple. It's about fighting for the love of your life even when the world may be against you.
