Sea Shanty Workshop

No singing experience or prior knowledge of sea shanties is necessary to take part in this fun and friendly workshop.
The workshop will introduce you to sea shanty harmony singing, through a selection of songs. You will learn a little of the history of the carefully selected shanties as well. Lyric sheets will be provided at the workshop. Come along and add your voice and experience a style of singing you'd probably not have expected to find in land-locked Hertfordshire!
Led by experienced sea shanty singer Simon Bailes, who is a member of the sea shanty group the Biggleswade Barnacles. The Barnacles will be performing outside Garden City Brewery, immediately after the workshop has ended.

All workshop attendees are welcome to come along and join in this performance, which will take place between 3.30 and approximately 4.30pm.
