Join us for a magical Halloween Treat & Trail through the beautiful Saltwell Park and meet lots of your favourite Kingdom characters along the way!

Now in its 6th year, this much-loved family event is packed with character meet & greets, photo opportunities, surprises and plenty of Halloween fun.

👻 This is a family-friendly Halloween event and is not designed to be scary.

Suitable for all ages – children, adults and even your four-legged friends! Dogs are very welcome to attend.

We’d love everyone to come dressed in their best Halloween costumes or favourite character outfits to really get into the spirit of the day!

There will be treats available at some stations. Taking treats is completely optional.

Please check that any treats are suitable for your child before accepting them. Full ingredient information will be available on all edible items.

Please note that treats are only available at selected character stations. This event is centred around the character experience rather than sweets, helping us keep ticket prices affordable.

Each guest will receive a stamp card so our team can ensure the correct number of treats are distributed.

Arrival & Sign In

Please make your way to ONE of our sign-in locations.

Gate 1

(Opposite the Little Theatre)

1–4 Saltwell View, Gateshead, NE8 4JS

The Park Bandstand

(Closest to the main Saltwell Park car park)

If you begin at Gate 1, you will finish at the Bandstand.

If you begin at the Bandstand, you will finish at Gate 1.

It is one circular route and can be completed in either direction.

Your Kingdom Pass is essential.

Without it, the characters will not interact with guests, so please ensure you collect it before starting your adventure.

Timed Entry

All tickets are allocated a timed entry slot.

This allows us to stagger guests throughout the trail, creating a more relaxed and personalised experience.

The trail takes approximately 45–60 minutes, so please ensure you complete your visit within your allocated time.

If attending with family or friends:

• Book the same time slot.

• Arrive together.

• Check in together.

• Start the trail from the same location.

Unfortunately we cannot amend entry times after booking.

If you’re unsure what time you’ll arrive, please purchase a Flexi Ticket instead.

Important Notice

Saltwell Park remains open to the public throughout the event.

There are other attractions within the park including:

• Play Park

• Maze

• Café

We kindly ask all ticket holders to complete the full character trail before visiting any other attractions.

As entry is timed, this helps ensure every family receives the full experience.

Arrive anytime between 10:30am–1:30pm

Please note:

Although your arrival time is flexible, you will still join the queue with guests arriving for their allocated entry slots.

This ticket is ideal for families with busy schedules who cannot guarantee an exact arrival time.

Age Information

Recommended for children aged 2 years and over.

Children aged 24 months and above require a standard admission ticket or family ticket place.

Every guest attending, including babies, children and adults, must have a valid ticket due to event capacity limits.

Transaction fees are charged by the ticket provider and card processor and are not retained by Let It Snow Productions.

Parking

Parking is available nearby, including:

Lowrey’s Lane Public Car Park

Where possible we recommend using public transport to help reduce congestion around Saltwell Park.

Park Access

Saltwell Park is a public park and remains open throughout the event.

We cannot close the entire park.

Your event ticket provides access to the character meet & greet experience only.

Members of the public without tickets will not be able to participate in the character interactions.

Cancellations & Refund Policy

Should the event be unable to proceed due to circumstances beyond our control, tickets will automatically be transferred to the equivalent 2027 event.

Refunds will only be issued if the event is permanently cancelled and not rescheduled.

All ticket sales are final.

Unfortunately we cannot change dates or time slots after booking.

As a small business, every ticket generated incurs a cost and altering entry times affects the safe management of the event.

If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to sell or transfer your tickets privately.
