Following OUR FIRST YEAR sell out event, the Fairytale Express HALLOWEEN ADDITION returns to Stephenson Railway Museum but with a Halloween Twist!!! .

Sunday October 3rd: 10:00am - 12:00pm - 14:00 - 16:00

Dress up as your favourite fairytale character for Halloween and hop aboard a heritage train with our wonderful characters on a magical ride like no other to Halloween Town there and back!.

NOTE WE HAVE GROUPED TICKETS FOR PURCHASE INTO 2,3,4,6S for final sale as this is to make it clear which numbers are beside which seats as the train is old some numbers differ this was confusing customers so we have now made the groups ourselves go to the quantity you need for eg x 4 and choose which carriage B, C or D you want x 4 tickets in! simples !

What Happens at the Event?

All characters are available for photos at various points in the event. 

Due to Covid 19 now all characters will be in and out of carriages and around the event at various points we won't have specific characters in specific carriages incase the social distance rules may need to apply we need to plan the event incase of this so choose seats based on how many you need via our seating chart.

The event will have opportunities to meet all the cast when you get to Halloween Town ( the train destination ) all cast will be available for a photo outside at our designated area this is the precaution for the event so we don't need to change it up should covid restrictions still apply. Music and Halloween Fun will also be had for passengers!

TIPS * You can ask the characters to give you a Trick or Treat on meeting them.. at your own risk for tricks! these you can take home as souvenirs! 

*You can bring your autograph book for the characters to sign and leave special messages when you meet them! Perfect way to start the halloween season!

Tickets: £17.95 Plus Booking Fee Please note that all children and adults require a ticket seats are all priced the same.

Adults without a ticket cannot ride the train; children cannot ride the train without an accompanying adult.

NOTE ** Siblings

**Babies under 12 months can go free, but only sitting on the lap of a paying adult. Please note they cannot be placed on a seat they must sit on your lap buggies must stay at the station due to how old the train is there is no buggy access.

*PLEASE BE AWARE IF YOU MISS YOUR CHOSEN SLOT FOR WHATEVER REASON YOU CANNOT RIDE THE TRAIN*

Buggies are to be left  at the station in our Magical safe Buggy park as we cannot fit them on the train so all belongings need to come with you.

Parking is available on site at first come first serve but we would suggest getting dropped off at the venue rather than parking for ease as not everyone will fit in the car park.

Exchange & Refunds

 Tickets can not be exchanged for an alternative session after purchase, due to slot demand and tickets are non-refundable if you can't attend the event you may sell tickets on if you wish to do that we ask you to do this on our Facebook event discussion wall find a buyer email us with them CCD in the email saying you wish to sell them on, we will then send them a payment link and refund your tickets. please note booking fees and transaction fees are non refundable.

The Station is Located Near Silverlink Shopping Center behind the Audi Car Garage

Parking

Some Parking is Available on site for each session at the Station but we do advise getting dropped off and collected rather than parking if possible.

Public Transport

Please note the Metro is 1.5 Miles away and closest is Percy Main (this is probably not the closest form of public Transport to the venue)

There is however a bus route that takes you to Silverlink Shopping Center which is located beside us.

Buses are frequent to Silverlink Shopping Center we advise this as the public Transport method and you would then walk approx 5 mins from there to the station.

Food

The station Cafe will be open for Snacks and Drinks for Purchase on the day. Please note only Food purchased in the Cafe is able to be eaten at the station.

Toilets

Toilets are available on site.

Fairytale shop

We will have our small fairy tale shop with sweets and Fairytale Items to Purchase on the day for all your Royal Needs.

Arrival

Please have your Booking Name and Bar code ready on arrival to hand.

Please ONLY Arrive 30 mins before your departure Train time for E.g 12:00 Train arrives 11:30 am Prompt. This is to avoid congestion from other sessions and also keeping the Magic at all times!

Please note last entry for the train is 15 mins before your Train Departure time so e.g 10:00 am train last entry is 9:45 am this is because we need to allow time to get on the train. If you miss your Train we cannot board you onto another time so please leave in enough time to avoid disappointment on the day, we would hate for anyone to miss their slot!

NOTE - Ticket entry is Required to be in the Station and join the event.

Pictures

You are able to take as many pictures on the day as possible with your mobiles we do not have a Photographer on site for this so bring your Phones!

Please be aware Photographers Must have Permission to take Professional Photos for Media or personal use from the event company Prior.

Buggy's

There will be a Buggy park located at the station in which you can leave pushchairs- Please note you cannot take them onto the train or the platform.

Wheelchair Access 

There is no Wheelchair Access on the train as the train is a heritage train but wheelchairs may be left on the platform.
