UPTON ⫸ KS2 - TERMS 5 & 6 ⫸ THURSDAY
We are committed to keeping our sessions more affordable than comparable art enrichment and after-school provision in Bristol, because we believe creative opportunities should be accessible to all families.
Our pricing reflects the care, expertise and preparation behind every session — from detailed planning and high-quality resources to our combined years of experience as art educators. We carefully select well-resourced, professional materials and invest in training our facilitators to ensure every child receives a genuinely enriching and inspiring experience.
We have held our prices steady for the past three years. However, due to rising material costs, we have made the considered decision to increase our fee slightly to £10 per session. This adjustment allows us to maintain the quality and depth of provision that families value, while continuing to offer excellent value for money.

KS2 Tuesdays and Thursdays are run by Jasmine Smail - as an artist, her practice explores childhood and its connections to memory and nostalgia. Jasmine is interested in the past being described and remembered through objects and the sentimentalisation of such objects. She runs Comfy Club - a southwest based arts collective who explore themes of nostalgia, childhood and friendship through the lens of the contemporary femme experience. Jasmine also works for Arnolfini visitors services and helps with our We Are Family and School Linking sessions.
LET’S MAKE ART is an independent arts organisation run by artists and educators Alice Hendy and Karen Davies. They are artists in residence at the Arnolfini, Bristol’s International Centre for Contemporary Arts. Their fun and inventive style has led them to work with many like minded organisations and artists, delivering accomplished projects for diverse audiences. They are passionate about the importance of creative subjects in schools and truly believe that studying and participating in art supports learning in other subjects. Art For Schools started in 2015 to provide multimedia arts programmes for KS1 and 2 pupils. They explore all aspects of making and experiment with diverse materials and techniques, valuing young people as natural artists.
Every year they enter children's artwork created at Art Club into the Young Artists Show at The Royal Academy in London and have had four successful candidates.
