What’s happening with climate and nature — and what does it mean for everyday life here in the UK?

Join us for a screening of The People’s Emergency Briefing — a clear, accessible film bringing together leading UK scientists and experts, looking at the evidence and why it matters for things like:

• Extreme weather
• Food security
• Health
• The cost of living

This 45-minute film is based on the National Emergency Briefing in Westminster, and brings together a range of voices to make the information accessible and relevant to all of us.

It’s designed to be watched together — as a community — looking at the same evidence and thinking about what comes next.

Following the screening, there will be a short discussion and Q&A with Sean Droomgoole and Rosie Boycott, exploring what this means for our local area, including preparedness, resilience, and longer-term thinking.

This isn’t about overwhelm. It’s about being informed — and considering what action might look like, together.

We’ll also be inviting local representatives to join the conversation.
