Ghosts at the Old Library

Ghosts at the Old Library returns for one night only.

Join us at the Old Library building for an evening of ghost stories for Christmas read by lantern-light. 

No elaborate staging this year, no podcasts or commissions or multi-room performances - just writers, stories, darkness, and that familiar sense that something unseen might be lurking among the lights and decorations.

Expect contemporary ghost stories, old-fashioned chills, and the sort of winter atmosphere you only get in an ancient library after hours.

This is a stripped-back, dimly-lit return to the heart of what Ghosts at the Old Library has always been about: gathering together to be unsettled, delighted, and quietly spooked as the nights draw in.

Tickets are pay what you want - all proceeds will support Levenshulme Old Library and help us launch a new programme in the new year working creatively with local Roma communities.
