A reputation for their high octane live performances, WvHs are an anarchic mix of drums, bodhrán, whistles, punk poetry, songs and beats. Promoting their debut album, 'Scratchcard Empires' released in October 2024, it features singles, '20 million Andrew Tates', 'Price You Pay' (Hot Press Pick of the Day) and 'Ugly America' - a dark take on life’s expectations, dealing with disappointment, inner city crime, an obsessive fame craving culture, with a huge dollop of desperation."shelovescalpol " [SLC] are an alternative, bilingual, electronic hip hop Cork duo of poet/singer Julie Goo, and Tír na gCasta music producer & DJ Milis. Over 20 years of friendship has led to this collaboration, creating bilingual lyrics and hip hop/trip hop
beats with a twist of abstract echoing their sound system days. They have played at various venues & festivals since 2020, including Body & Soul and Electric Picnic. They are currently working on their first album.
