An invitation to shape Lewisham's future priorities on climate action.

You are invited to take part in an event to hear from Councillor Corin Ashwell, the Council's new cabinet member for Environment, Nature, Transport and Climate Action, and be a part of a discussion on climate action in Lewisham.

Climate organisations, sustainable businesses, grassroots groups or community leaders based in Lewisham, we'd love you to be there to share your views with Councillor Ashwell and the Council on what local action on the climate should mean.

Over an evening of food and conversations, we'll come together over multiple topics, facilitated by Lewisham locals:

• Hear from Councillor Corin Ashwell, the Council's new cabinet member for Environment, Nature, Transport and Climate Action, on the council's approach going forwards
• Co-Founder of Diaspora Futures Farah Ahmed will be asking: "how can we grow a people-led climate movement in Lewisham that is fair for everyone?"
• Artist Ryan Hawaii will lead a conversation around building a circular economy
• LIVE + BREATHE campaigner Love Ssega will guide discussions on making a borough that's easier to walk, cycle and scoot in
• Conversations on building community energy will be led by South East London Community Energy (Selce)
