Initial Play Leadership Training 2025 - LEYLAND (St Catherine's) Training Venue

Welcome to the Play Leadership Course

Attendance at this course is mandatory for ALL NEW volunteers wishing to work on either the Leyland or Samlesbury Playschemes.

During the course of the day you will cover all aspects of Play and the importance of it for children. You will learn how the scheme operates and what to do in a variety of situations.

What should I bring?

• Lunch (or money for lunch)
• Pen
• Identification documents (as listed on your confirmation email) - if applicable (16 and over)

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

You will have to make your own way to the event, there is parking available and the venue is a short walk from Leyland Train Station
